Settings Up WP Job Manager Geolocation

WP Job Manager Geolocation extends WP Job Manager with powerful location-based features such as address geocoding, proximity-based searches, and interactive maps for job and resume listings.

This page provides a high-level overview of the available settings and links to detailed guides for each configuration section.


Before You Begin

Make sure you have completed the following steps before configuring the plugin:


Accessing the Plugin Settings

WP Job Manager Geolocation settings are available directly in the WordPress admin menu.

To access the settings page, go to:

Dashboard → Job Listings (or Resumes) → Settings → Geolocation

From there, you can navigate between the different settings tabs described below.


Settings Overview

WP Job Manager Geolocation settings are organized into several tabs inside the WordPress admin. Each tab controls a specific part of the geolocation functionality.

The settings described below apply to both job listings and resume listings, unless stated otherwise.

General Settings

Core configuration options that control how geolocation works across your site. This includes API keys, default location behavior, and geocoding-related settings.

Controls how location-based searches and maps behave on job and resume listings. Includes proximity search options, radius filters, map display settings, and marker behavior.

Single Page Settings

How the Settings Work Together

Each settings tab focuses on a specific layer of functionality:

  • General defines how locations are stored and processed.
  • Search & Map controls how users search and browse listings by location.
  • Single Page determines how location data appears on individual listings.

You do not need to configure every option to start using the plugin. Most sites can begin with the default settings and adjust options as needed.
