Introduction The Single Listing Page settings control how maps and location data are displayed on individual job and resume listings. These options allow you to define where the map appears, how it behaves, and how users interact with it.
All settings described below apply to both job listings and resume listings , unless otherwise noted.
Single Listing Page settings in WP Job Manager Geolocation. Accessing This Settings Page The Search & Map settings are located inside the WP Job Manager settings panel. To access this page, go to:
Dashboard → Job Listings (or Resumes) → Settings → Geolocation → Single Page
The same settings structure and options apply to both job and resume search pages.
Single Listing Page Settings 1. Map Location Choose where the map will appear on the single listing page.
Disabled – Do not display a map.Top of Listing – Show the map above the listing content.Bottom of Listing – Show the map below the listing content.2. Show Map in Preview When enabled, the map will be displayed while previewing a job or resume submission before it is published.
This helps employers and candidates verify the location before submitting the listing.
3. Map DimensionsMap Width Set the width of the map using pixels or percentages (for example: 100%, 600px).
Map Height Set the height of the map using pixels or percentages (for example: 250px, 50%).
4. Map Type Select the visual style of the map displayed on the single listing page.
Roadmap – Standard street map.Satellite – Satellite imagery.Hybrid – Satellite imagery with road labels.Terrain – Topographical map with elevation data.5. Location Marker Icon Enter the URL of the icon used to mark the listing’s location on the map.
You may use a custom image or leave this field empty to use the default Google Maps marker.

6. Zoom LevelsDefault Zoom Level Controls the initial zoom level when the map loads. Values range from 1 (farthest) to 20 (closest).
Maximum Zoom Level Optionally limit how far users can zoom in on the map. Leave this option disabled to allow unrestricted zooming.
7. Gesture Handling Controls how users interact with the map using touch, mouse scroll, and trackpad gestures.
Disabled – No gesture interaction.Auto – Default Google Maps behavior.Cooperative – Requires two-finger scrolling.Greedy – Captures all scroll and touch gestures.How to Use These Settings Choose where the map should appear on the listing page. Adjust size and zoom levels to match your theme layout. Select an appropriate map type for your audience. Fine-tune gesture handling to prevent scroll conflicts. Most sites work well with the default settings and only require minor adjustments to match their theme design.
