Single Job and Resume Map Shortcodes
Purpose
The Single Job Map and Single Resume Map shortcodes display one saved listing location. They are useful when a map must appear inside custom content, a page builder, a template, or a page other than the listing’s normal single page.
If no valid indexed coordinates are available for the selected post, the shortcode cannot display a location marker.
Single Job Map
On a single Job page, use the current post automatically:
[wpjmgeo_jobs_single_job_map]To display a specific Job anywhere on the site, supply its post ID:
[wpjmgeo_jobs_single_job_map post_id="123"]Single Resume Map
The Resume shortcode requires WP Job Manager Geolocation Pro and the separate WP Job Manager Resume Manager extension:
[wpjmgeo_resumes_single_resume_map]Or specify a Resume:
[wpjmgeo_resumes_single_resume_map post_id="456"]Supported attributes

Examples
A compact Job map:
[wpjmgeo_jobs_single_job_map post_id="123" map_width="100%" map_height="280px" map_type="ROADMAP" zoom_level="14" gesture_handling="cooperative"]A Pro Resume map with a custom marker:
[wpjmgeo_resumes_single_resume_map post_id="456" map_height="350px" map_type="HYBRID" location_marker_url="https://example.com/images/resume-marker.png"]When multiple maps appear on one page, give each map a unique element_id or allow the plugin to generate one automatically.
Automatic maps versus shortcodes
The Single Job Page and Single Resume Page settings add a map automatically above or below the normal listing content. A shortcode map is independent of that placement.
To avoid displaying two maps, disable the automatic map under the corresponding Single Page settings when a shortcode provides the map instead.
See Single Page Settings for automatic placement and preview behavior.
Troubleshooting
- No map appears: confirm that
post_idpoints to a published Job or Resume with indexed coordinates. - The current page shows the wrong location: supply an explicit
post_id. - The map is blank or reports a Google error: verify Maps JavaScript API, the Browser API Key restrictions, billing, and the front-end console.
- The same listing shows two maps: disable the automatic Single Page map or remove the manual shortcode.
- The Resume shortcode produces no output: verify the Pro package and active Resume Manager extension.
